🏛️ There are many Greek restaurants in Luxembourg, but this was the first one I tried — and it was fantastic.
🇬🇷 Real Greeks, Greek staff, and authentic taste!
⚠️ Allergens are clearly marked — there’s a “3” but it’s only for the dressing (they don’t serve tzatziki), so I just skipped it.
🥖 The pita wasn’t gluten-free, but that didn’t bother me.
🎶 Traditional Greek music I actually recognized made a great impression.

Already from the outside there was a very pleasant scent of food, the place itself is very simple, cozy and full most of the time.
The menu is above the counter and there are several options to tell to the cashier, you pay and they give you a device that beeps once your meal is ready.
The food satisfied me both with flavor, texture, fullness and it's not expensive! It all has a super nice taste and I believe that gyros has now become one of my comfort foods ❤️
The fries aren't crunchy, they're actually quite soft, big and with lots of aromatics that I like. The meat is so delicious and cooked very well 🤤 Makes me want to come back for more!! The vegetables are very fresh, crunchy and tasty as well!!
The waiting time is reasonable and totally worth it for this amazing food and service!! I'll gladly come back!- Service

My friends and I have been regulars at Souvlaki The Original (city) since we arrived at Luxemburg. The food is tasty, restaurant is clean, the customer service is on point and quick! Thanks to staff that will always make sure you feel "at home" to enjoy plenty your experience. If you can enjoy the terasse in the summer even better. Keep it up Souvlaki Team!

I was with my 3 friends. We got skepasti and the Service was amazing really fast, the portions and quality was excellent and then they put at the end some greek songs which made me nostalgic and treated us a aperitif with cinnamon. Felt like I was part of a movie like my greek fat big wedding. Couldn't recommend more.

During my latest visit, they surprised me with free Coca-Cola as a thank you for being a frequent customer, which was such a thoughtful gesture that made my day. Service was great, so friendly and helpful. The food was incredible, hot, tasty, great portions. We had the Souvlaki XL for 2 and it was the best selection to have some of everything. Highly recommend!

Finally, a place to get delicious, reasonably priced Greek food in Luxembourg! If the crowd today is any indication, I‘m not the only one excited to try this place. Service was quick and friendly, even at the height of the lunch rush, and the Souvlaki was excellent!

Location is convenient and nicely designed, the staff is friendly and professional and the meat is just perfect.
The flavor and the tenderness of the various types of meat offered were above my expectations.
The selection of Greek beers pairs very well with the plates offered.
My personal suggestion is to go for the piece of meat (4 to 5€) or the menu (14€) instead of the pita, however it might be a matter of personal taste.

Very tasty food! Value for money it was very good. Both the quantity and the quality was excellent. The service extremely fast and efficient. If I ever visit Luxemburg staining would definitely visit it.

The souvlaki was bang on!! This place is an amazing Greek style restaurant in Lux. Serving grilled meats inside a soft yet crisp flat bread with all the traditional condiments including fries! The only thing missing is the Greek weather to go on the side when you sit to eat outside 😉

Authentic gyros and souvlaki place! Just like in Greece, the gyros is perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the portions are big. Friendly and quick service. We used to drive 30 min+ to their other restaurant in Mondercange for the quality of their food, now we are so glad they opened this place in the city. Love it and 100% recommend it!
